Tour Diary #17

March 1st
Today was by far the most relaxing day that we have had in the two and a half weeks that we have been traveling. It was the first of two days off between our Denton and Tucson shows, so we spent the entire day in Dallas with Chris' dad. First, we got to do some laundry, run some various errands, and then eat at a great Vietnamese restaurant for lunch. Then we went back to the house and relaxed for a few hours before Rich (Chris' dad) treated us all to an amazing sushi dinner at a restaurant where he is a regular. We bypassed the menu and allowed the chef to bring us out various plates of sushi at his will. We also got something called a hot rock, which was literally a rock that was heated to an extreme temperature upon which to cook your own meat and vegetables at the table. After this delicious and amazing meal, we did a little late night grocery shopping, drank some beers, and got thoroughly rested for some major traveling.

That's how we operate.

... and that resulted in Nate literally falling asleep while playing the guitar. Amazing.
